Thank you: 1000 Followers Reached!

Thank You PictureI have been informed that I have reached an incredible number of 1000 followers on this blog. I would like to express my sincere thanks to all my followers who have been so committed to following my posts over the weeks, months and even years (even despite of the fact that I am far from being consistent with my posts’ frequency). I appreciate very much that you are reading, liking and commenting on my posts. Perhaps, you have a favourite category of posts or would like me to cover any particular topic or film? Any comments or suggestions welcome. A huge thank you, again! Β

  1. Congrats on the milestone! Future posts, I’d be interested to read a list of your all-time favorite films/books/albums, though I understand if it’s too difficult to narrow down or too personal to share.

          1. That’s a fraud – they simply total up all of your social media followers and add them together. Most of them don’t even read my tweets or FB posts let alone visit my site. :-/

    1. This will be a very difficult task for me. How can I possibly put into words – human speech – what I consider to be a film beyond human articulation haha. There is so much emotion, undercurrents, messages, and such superior use of music, direction, adaptation and acting that it will be either futile for me to convey (people should see it by themselves) or I will just be writing in exclamation marks. I know it sounds silly, but that is just the level I put this film on πŸ™‚

On the other hand, people wrote on geography and different types of love in The English Patient. I will then probably decide on some specific topic like that and write something in relation to it, rather than just a review.

      1. I know how you feel. Watching this film is an experience quite unlike any other. I agree with everything you just said about how you feel towards it. I think it is a film that you give yourself over to and feel, rather than just merely watch and enjoy.

I look forward to reading whatever you write about it one day. πŸ™‚
